Apart from what we had heard we wanted to see Hue for ourselves. We did not care about people telling is that there is rain. We thought rain will not keep us from exploring. And we certainly never thought a little rain would make us change our plans.
The train to Hue
There is constant rain here in Hue. We really like the vibe of the city but eventhough we usually do not mind the rain, this has been too much rain. We visited the Imperial City and came back soaking wet. During our visit we realized there is no point in staying in central Vietnam right now. Most activities and sights are outdoors and there would be no chance of escaping the rain.

Still pretty despite the rain
In this city we went back to the roots and stayed in a dorm. The dorm itself was nice, clean and relatively quiet. The bar downstairs/ chillout area/ restaurant has in the evening music as loud as a club. Even in the morning it is pretty loud. Not really a place to chill.
So now we shorten our stay here and take the airplane to Saigon.
